Rajesh Patel, the Director of R.C. Manubhai & Co. Ltd, has announced exciting plans to construct a new clubhouse for the Ba Golf Club, set to begin next year. This development was revealed during the opening day of the 54th R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf Open at the FSC Golf Club, where Patel outlined his ambitions for the project.
“Next year marks the 55th anniversary, so we plan to do something better,” Patel stated, expressing his enthusiasm for enhancing the club’s facilities. The proposed clubhouse will feature a VIP room among other amenities, with hopes to see these plans realized by next year.
Patel also reflected on the company’s enduring support for the Ba Golf Open, celebrating an impressive 54 years of sponsorship. “It’s very exciting to see a turnout of 120 participants—one of the biggest in years. It’s a record, and over time, people have realized that this event is not just about playing golf but also about socializing and enjoying the experience,” he noted.
The commitment to create a positive atmosphere for all attendees was strongly emphasized. “As a sponsor, we believe in making sure that players traveling from far away are well-fed and enjoy both the game and the fun,” Patel added.
In his capacity as Fiji FA president, Patel praised the excellent condition of the golf course. “The course is in excellent shape, and the golfers are definitely enjoying themselves. Golf is a unique game; you don’t play against others but challenge the course itself. That’s the essence of golf,” he explained.
This initiative not only signifies an investment in the local sports community but also represents a commitment to enhancing leisure experiences in the region. With the upcoming clubhouse, both participants and spectators can look forward to an even more enriching golf experience in the years to come.
In summary, the new clubhouse at the Ba Golf Club demonstrates R.C. Manubhai & Co. Ltd’s long-term dedication to golf and community engagement while promising to elevate the experience for all involved.
