The Ba Football Association launched its 2025 local league competition at the AD Patel College grounds over the weekend, enjoying enthusiastic support from the community and showcasing impressive performances from all competing teams. Ba Football Regional Local League director Fazilat Khan lauded the quality of football exhibited during the event.
Khan noted, “We witnessed a wonderful display of football by all teams. The players appeared fit and energetic, and the turnout of fans cheering for their clubs was substantial.” Despite a minor delay ahead of the kickoff, the subsequent games proceeded smoothly with minimal interruptions.
She extended her gratitude to the members of Flying Arrows FC for their assistance in prepping the ground for the matches, stating, “Special thanks and appreciation to the members of Flying Arrows FC for helping get the ground ready for today’s games.” Furthermore, her acknowledgment of local coaching staff, including Ba district coach Ronil Kumar and Under-19 youth coach Mr. Thakur, emphasized their commitment to talent scouting and development during the matches.
Khan expressed optimism for the remainder of the season, mentioning a focus on addressing any minor details that may need attention before the next round of matches. She appealed to fans to maintain their strong support for local football, which can significantly uplift the morale of the teams.
In terms of match results from the opening weekend, Flying Arrows FC secured a resounding 8-1 victory over Racecourse FC, while Galaxy FC claimed a 3-0 win against Riverside FC, and Raviravi FC triumphed with a 2-0 score against Flying Arrows Youth FC.
