Ba Football Club Strengthens Squad with Promising Prospects and Experienced Midfielder

Ba has lodged an application for the release of seasoned Labasa midfielder, Ilaisa Naiyasi.

According to Ba President Azam Ali, the addition of Naiyasi to the squad will bolster the strength of the Men In Black while enhancing their midfield options.

Ali also revealed to FijiLive the recruitment of two promising young players.

Isimeli Gavidi, a 17-year-old Lautoka midfielder presently playing for Fiji U19 team, will join his local team, Ba. Gavidi is the grandson of Ba soccer legend, Meli Vuilabasa, and his impending association with Ba is eagerly awaited.

Penaia Naqatalevu, another member of the U19 Fiji team and a 17-year-old striker from Tavua, is reportedly on the verge of finalizing his discussions with Ba.

His transfer is anticipated to be disclosed soon, bringing another youthful talent to Ba’s forward line.

Addressing rumors about Ba players Rahul Naresh and Raj Pillay, who were allegedly pursued by Suva officials, Ali affirmed that both players will continue with Ba and no players will be departing from the district.
