Seasoned striker Christopher Wasasala put Labasa ahead with a goal in the 18th minute. Ba responded with a goal from Etonia Dogalau, who equalized with a header in the 37th minute, sending the teams into halftime tied at one goal each.
The second half proved to be intense and competitive, but Ba clinched the win with a late goal from Faazil Ali. Following the match, Rooster Chicken Ba sits in fourth place with 28 points, tied for points with third-placed Lautoka but trailing on goal difference. Extra Supermarket Labasa remains in second place with 32 points.
