Ba Battles Back to Hold Navua in Thrilling 2-2 Standoff!

Ba came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Navua in Round 13 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour. Simione Damuni gave Navua an early advantage, but young player Penaia Nagatalevu quickly equalized just minutes later. Midfielder Rahul Krishna then restored Navua’s lead midway through the first half, but a penalty from Mohammed Raheem allowed Ba to level the game again just before halftime. The second half saw no goals scored, and frustrations led to Ba’s Rahul Naresh and Ilaisa Nayasi receiving red cards. As a result of this match, Rooster Chicken Ba dropped to fifth place with 19 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua remained in sixth place with 18 points.
