Australia secured the Over 50s title at the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney today, triumphing over Viti Boys Canada with a score of 1-0 in a thrilling final. Vinesh Kumar scored the decisive goal for Australia in the second half of the match.
Kumar also received the Golden Ball Award for his outstanding performance, while Australian goalkeeper Manoj Kumar was honored with the Golden Glove. Jitendra Nair from Viti Boys Canada earned the Golden Boot after scoring five goals during the tournament.
In another match, NZ Lautoka claimed the Over 45 title, defeating NZ Nadroga with a score of 3-1.
