Wales faced disappointment at the end of a challenging season, losing 36-28 to the Wallabies at a rainy AAMI Park in Melbourne last night, with Filipo Daugunu scoring twice.
In the wet conditions, the Wallabies kicked off with a stunning 98-meter try and maintained their lead to secure victory.
Daugunu’s two tries, along with scores from Jake Gordon and Allan Alaalatoa, contributed to Australia’s triumph.
Noah Lolesio added three penalties, while Ben Donaldson chipped in with another.
Australia capitalized on several Welsh errors during the Melbourne downpour.
Wales earned their points through tries by Rio Dyer, Dewi Lake, who scored twice, and Liam Williams.
Sam Costelow and Ben Thomas provided additional points through successful kicks.
