Aussie Football Star Luke Wilkshire Set to Inspire at Fiji FA Awards Night 2024

Australian football icon Luke Wilkshire will serve as the chief guest at the Extra Supermarket Fiji FA Awards Night 2024, set for December 1 at the Crowne Plaza in Nadi.

Wilkshire, who earned 80 international caps and scored eight goals for Australia, represented his country in two FIFA World Cups (2006 and 2010), contributed to the AFC Asian Cup victory in 2015, and participated in the 2004 Athens Olympics. His extensive career in football makes him a fitting guest for this esteemed event.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf expressed his enthusiasm, calling it a significant honor to have a FIFA Legend like Wilkshire attend the awards night. He emphasized that Wilkshire’s impressive background in football would serve as an inspiration to Fiji’s football community.
