The Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection has announced that Social Welfare allowance payments for August will be delayed due to the transition into the new government financial year.
The Ministry expressed its apologies for the inconvenience and urged recipients to be patient as they work to resolve the outstanding payments within the week. They are making every effort to ensure that all recipients will receive their allowances by the end of business on Tuesday, August 6.
Starting in September, all future monthly payments will return to the regular schedule.
