The reigning champions, NZFFI Auckland All Stars, are set to showcase an impressive roster in the highly anticipated 2024 Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup, kicking off tomorrow at Lautoka’s Churchill Park. Under the guidance of Coach Josaia Bukalidi, the team features a 22-member squad that boasts numerous former Fiji internationals and several prominent guest players.
Among the notable athletes on the roster are seasoned goalkeeper Ravinesh Narayan, as well as talented players such as Beniamino Mateinaqara, Samuela Drudru, Gabriel Matanisiga, Munit Krishna, and Abbu Zahid. The lineup also includes Rinal Prasad, Andrew Naicker, Mohammed Raheem, Mohammed Shuaib Khan, James Hoyt, Noa Vukica, Mohammed Shazil Ali, and Malakai Rakula. The squad is further strengthened by guest players Augustin Contratti, Nicolas Bobadilla, Eber Ramirez, Hector Echague, Andrew Abba, and Hamish Watson.
The Auckland All Stars will kick off their tournament journey against last year’s DFPL champions, Rewa, in a match scheduled for 7:30 PM tomorrow.
