The NZFFI Auckland All Stars, the reigning champions, took a break from their participation in the Pacific Community Cup to give back to the community by visiting the students of the Nadi Centre for Special Education. During this meaningful visit, the team generously donated $1,500 to support the students’ educational needs for the 2025 Back to School stationery, as well as soccer balls for the school’s sports programs.
Team Manager Kartik Reddy expressed the emotional impact of the visit, noting that it served as a valuable reminder for the players to appreciate the smaller aspects of life that are often taken for granted. The team previously visited the school in 2016 and felt it was essential to reconnect with the students and support the local community once again.
Reddy extended his gratitude to the sponsors—Rams Group of Companies Ltd, All in One Builders Company LTD, Hyperchem Pharmacy, ITAX4U, 3DEES Electrical Ltd, and Smart Efficient Security PTE Ltd—whose support made this charitable endeavor possible.
On the field, the NZFFI Auckland All Stars are currently competing in the Pacific Community Cup and will face the USA All Stars in their next match today at 4:30 PM. They currently lead Group B with three points after a recent victory over Rewa.
This story highlights the importance of community involvement and the positive impact sports teams can have beyond the game. It serves as a reminder that success in sports also comes with a responsibility to give back and inspire others.
