The NZFFI Auckland All Stars clinched the Pacific Community Cup title at Churchill Park in Lautoka, successfully defending their championship by defeating the Manukau All Stars 2-0 in an electrifying final match.

Both goals for the Auckland team came from guest players, Eber Ramirez and Nicolas Bobadilla, who set the pace for the game under the guidance of their coach, Josaia Bukalidi.

Despite a determined effort from the Manukau All Stars in the second half, their attempts to find the net were thwarted by a solid defense led by players like Mohammed Shuaib Khan and Gabriel Matanisiga.

Earlier in the tournament, Auckland All Stars secured their place in the final by overcoming the hosts, Lautoka, also with a 2-0 victory. Simultaneously, Manukau All Stars achieved a similar semifinal result against the USA All Stars.

As champions, Auckland All Stars received a prize of $10,000 FJD, while the runners-up, Manukau All Stars, earned $3,000. Mohammed Nabeel from Auckland All Stars was named Player of the Tournament, with Beniamino Mateinaqara winning the Golden Glove award for the best goalkeeper. Additionally, Garbhan Coughlan from Manukau was honored with the Golden Boot for scoring seven goals during the tournament, while the AuFFI All Stars were recognized as the Fairest Team.

This victory not only showcases the talent within the Auckland All Stars team but also highlights the competitive spirit of all participating teams, promising an exciting future for Pacific football.
