Asish Chand showcased an outstanding performance at the Ba Golf Club’s pre-open stroke event held last weekend, where he claimed the Overall Gross title with a remarkable score of 69. His impressive display not only earned him this top accolade but also saw him winning the Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin (NTP) awards, solidifying his status as the tournament’s standout player.
The event, sponsored by Meenoo’s, attracted elite golfers from the Ba region, all competing for prestigious titles across various categories. A notable highlight was Nalin Sharma, who emerged victorious in the Overall Net category with an exceptional score of 60.
In the A Grade division, Rohit Chandra secured the 1st Net position with a commendable score of 66, closely followed by Indra Warjan at 69, and Ashwin Sharma with a score of 72. Meanwhile, the B Grade category saw Brendan Daniel leading with a score of 65, with Joeli Dakunimata and Sailesh Kumar trailing behind in second and third place with scores of 67 and 69, respectively. In the C Grade competition, Yash Kumar dominated with a score of 62, leaving Pradeep Chandra in second with 73.
