The Asco Foundation has contributed a 4×4 Hilux vehicle to Diabetes Fiji to support their outreach efforts aimed at enhancing community health and well-being.
Taarvish Akbhar, the chairman of Diabetes Fiji’s board, expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting its significant impact on the organization’s mission. “We are incredibly thankful to the Asco Foundation for their support,” he stated. “This vehicle will be instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission to educate and assist those affected by diabetes.”
He emphasized that the vehicle would enable them to expand their services, ultimately improving the quality of life for many individuals in the community. Akbhar noted that this initiative represents a significant milestone in their ongoing collaboration with other organizations committed to enhancing health outcomes, especially in combating the rising concerns related to diabetes within communities.
“This donation is part of a broader initiative aimed at promoting health and wellness, consistent with a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community,” he added.
