Arson Determined in Suva Defence Club Fire Investigation

The National Fire Authority has classified the fire that occurred at the Defence Club in Suva as arson. The incident, which took place earlier this year, has now been concluded according to NFA Chief Executive Puamau Sowane. The investigation report indicated that the fire’s origin and source were consistent with arson. The case file has been forwarded to the Police Crime Office. In addition, Chief of Crime ACP Mesake Waqa has confirmed that the report has been received and that investigators will begin analyzing the findings.
