The National Fire Authority has determined that the fire at the Defence Club in Suva has been classified as arson. The incident, which occurred earlier this year, took place on February 27. NFA Chief Executive Puamau Sowane revealed that the investigation has concluded, identifying the fire’s origin and source as arson. He mentioned that the case file has been handed over to the Police Crime Office. In response, Chief of Crime ACP Mesake Waqa confirmed that the report has been received and that investigators will now evaluate the findings.
