A man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred in Raiwaqa yesterday morning. The 23-year-old suspect, along with two accomplices, is alleged to have assaulted a victim outside the Milverton Road Top Shop.

According to police reports, the victim was waiting for a bus when he was attacked by the three men, who then stole his watch and $9. Following the incident, the victim promptly reported the robbery to the authorities.

In response, the police quickly mobilized a team to locate the suspects. The primary suspect was apprehended along Nairai Road and is currently under interrogation at the Raiwaqa Police Station. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials are actively pursuing leads to capture his accomplices.

The swift action taken by the police is commendable and demonstrates their commitment to maintaining safety in the community. As the search for the remaining suspects continues, residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
