Authorities have apprehended three men in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place at the Allision Supermarket in Laucala Beach this morning. Fiji Police confirmed that, upon receiving the incident report, a specialized team from the Southern Division was dispatched to track down the suspects.
The trio allegedly threatened both staff and customers while brandishing weapons, leading to the theft of cash and various items. They managed to escape in a vehicle, which was later discovered abandoned in Tacirua.
The suspects were caught earlier this afternoon and are currently detained at Valelevu Police Station, where investigations are ongoing.
