Before their cup final in Labasa, the Aqua Pro Savuiqali secured a close semi-final win against Aloha Taveuni, finishing 19-14. Team captain Waisake Tewa, who was named best player of the match, expressed the team’s eagerness to compete in Savusavu, emphasizing that their recent success serves as a significant motivator for their upcoming performance.

“We are currently preparing for the Savusavu 7s and we can’t wait to head down from Labasa to take part in the tournament,” Tewa remarked. He further added, “Our job is done here in Labasa, and now it’s onto the next one.”

In the Savusavu tournament, the Aqua Pro Savuiqali will face off against teams including Bokobuka, Bua Babas, Village Boys 2, and St Theresa. The tournament is set to begin today and will conclude this Saturday.
