ANZ has announced the appointment of Rabih Yazbek as its new Head of Client Coverage for the United Kingdom and Europe. He is expected to conclude his role as Country Head for Fiji in early April 2026, prior to his relocation to London.
During his tenure in Fiji, Yazbek has been instrumental in enhancing ANZ’s operations in the Pacific, steering the bank through the complexities of the post-COVID recovery while achieving significant growth in both Commercial and Retail Banking sectors. Under his guidance, ANZ Fiji has strengthened its relationships with key clients and stakeholders, advanced its digital banking initiatives, and experienced robust growth in home lending.
Sarah Stubbings, ANZ’s Pacific Regional Executive, praised Yazbek’s contributions, noting his leadership during a crucial recovery period for both the bank and Fiji’s economy. “Rabih has made an outstanding contribution to ANZ and the Pacific region,” she stated. “His efforts have fortified our business and fostered a values-driven culture that will endure.”
