British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious car accident in Nigeria that resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The former world champion was traveling near Lagos when his vehicle collided with a parked truck on a prominent expressway.
Images from the scene depicted the 36-year-old boxer being assisted from the back seat of a black SUV, amidst shattered glass. According to Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), five adult men were part of the incident. While Joshua sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment, two passengers tragically lost their lives. Two others emerged from the accident uninjured.
