ANCF’s Ambitious Plan for a 40,000-Seat Church Unveiled!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) has announced plans to construct a church that can accommodate a congregation of 40,000. This initiative was disclosed by ANCF general superintendent Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday, which serves as a fundraising effort for the project.

Rev Ratabacaca mentioned that the church will be built on a 25-acre site and will be designed to host events for all Christian denominations. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to create a space for the entire Christian community, stating that the facility will not only serve the ANCF but also other churches for conferences and gatherings.

Highlighting the inappropriateness of using sports venues for worship, Rev Ratabacaca compared the situation to a recent Methodist Church Conference that took place at Vodafone Arena in Suva, costing nearly half a million for just one week. He emphasized the discomfort many experience during inclement weather at sports grounds when attending religious events and reaffirmed that the new facility aims to provide a comfortable environment for worship.
