A new political movement, the Allied Fiji Party, has been officially introduced to the public, with its advocates urging Fijians to support its registration ahead of future elections. Spokesman Sikeli Wise announced the initiative on social media, emphasizing the party’s goals of fostering change, unity, progress, and a fresh vision for Fiji.
Wise clarified that while the Allied Fiji Party is not yet recognized as a registered political entity, steps have been taken to secure its name with the Fiji Elections Office, allowing the movement to establish its identity. “For full disclosure, we are not yet a registered political movement,” Wise stated, highlighting that reserving the party name marks a crucial initial step towards formalization.
“This step marks the beginning of our journey to formalize our movement and bring our shared vision for Fiji to life,” he added. The movement is currently focusing on gathering the necessary 5,000 signatures to achieve official registration status.
The proponents of the Allied Fiji Party are optimistic that, with community support, they will be able to create a political platform that resonates with the aspirations of the Fijian people. The initiative reflects a growing enthusiasm for political engagement among citizens seeking new opportunities for representation and progress in their country.
