All Blacks Unveil Star-Studded Lineup Against Japan

Fiji-born All Blacks winger Sevu Reece is set to make his start against Japan this Saturday, taking his position on the left wing. The game holds special significance for veteran Blues player Patrick Tuipulotu, who will captain the All Blacks for the first time in his international career. Additionally, Peter Lakai and Ruben Love could potentially make their debuts, having been included in the reserves.

In the front row, Tamaiti Williams, Asafo Aumua, and Pasilio Tosi will take the starting positions. The locks will feature a partnership between Sam Darry and Tuipulotu. On the flanks, Samipeni Finau and Vice Captain Sam Cane will be present, while Wallace Sititi is set to play at number 8.

Cam Roigard will make his first start in the number 9 position, with Damien McKenzie taking on the flyhalf role. Mark Tele’a will join Reece on the wings, and the midfield will consist of Anton Lienert-Brown and Billy Proctor, with Stephen Perofeta starting at fullback.

For forwards cover, George Bell, Ofa Tu’ungafasi, Fletcher Newell, Josh Lord, and Lakai will be available, while the backline reserves will include TJ Perenara, David Havili, and Love. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5.50 PM at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
