Two Fijian players have secured their spots in the All Blacks squad for the upcoming highly anticipated Test series against France in July. Crusaders winger Sevu Reece and Highlanders utility back Timoci Tavatavanawai have been named in the final lineup announced earlier today. Additionally, Chiefs speedster Emoni Narawa has been brought in as injury cover for midfielder Anton Lienert-Brown.

Newly appointed head coach Scott Robertson has introduced five newcomers to the All Blacks as he embarks on this new chapter for the team. The squad will be led by captain Scott Barrett, alongside vice-captains Jordie Barrett and Ardie Savea.

The five fresh faces set to represent the All Blacks for the first time are Brodie McAlister, Ollie Norris, Fabian Holland, Du’Plessis Kirifi, and Tavatavanawai, adding significant depth and potential to the team. Notably, despite recovering from injuries, Luke Jacobson, Wallace Sititi, and Anton Lienert-Brown have retained their places in the squad.

The team also faced some absences, with notable omissions including George Bower, Rivez Reihana, and Hoskins Sotutu.

Fans can look forward to the All Blacks kicking off their three-match Test series against France next Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. As the All Blacks strive to reclaim their dominance, especially after a victory over France last achieved in 2018, the changes in the lineup reflect a strategic push towards success, setting the stage for an exciting series ahead.
