Hoskins Sotutu, who was recently overlooked by the All Blacks, has been honoured as the Super Rugby Pacific Player of the Year following his exceptional performance for the 2024 champions, the Blues.
During the Super Rugby Pacific season, Sotutu topped the league’s forward standings by scoring 12 tries and making eight assists. He was also among the top 10 players in terms of carries made.
Beyond his offensive contributions, Sotutu demonstrated outstanding defensive skills. He ranked among the top 20 players for tackles and made it to the top five for rucks. Additionally, he won 14 turnovers.
