All Blacks Set for Thrilling Clash: Sevu Reece and New Captain Lead the Charge Against Japan!

Sevu Reece, the Fiji-born winger, is set to start for the All Blacks against Japan this Saturday. Reece will take his position on the left wing in what promises to be an exciting matchup.

This match is particularly significant for veteran Patrick Tuipulotu, who will captain the All Blacks for the first time in his international career. Additionally, Peter Lakai and Ruben Love have been named in the reserves and are in line for their debut appearances.

The front row will feature Tamaiti Williams, Asafo Aumua, and Pasilio Tosi. The lock combination will consist of Sam Darry alongside Tuipulotu. Samipeni Finau and Vice Captain Sam Cane will play on the flanks, while Wallace Sititi takes his place at number 8.

Cam Roigard will start at scrum-half, marking his first appearance in the starting lineup, with Damien McKenzie taking the fly-half role. Reece will be joined on the wings by Mark Tele’a.

In the midfield, Anton Lienert-Brown teams up with Billy Proctor, and Stephen Perofeta will take the role of fullback.

The reserves will include George Bell, Ofa Tu’ungafasi, Fletcher Newell, Josh Lord, and Lakai for forward coverage, while the backs will be supported by TJ Perenara, David Havili, and Love from the bench.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:50 PM at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
