All Blacks Set for Thrilling Clash Against Japan: Who Will Shine?

Fiji-born All Blacks winger Sevu Reece is set to start against Japan this Saturday, taking his place on the left wing. This match holds special significance for veteran Blues player Patrick Tuipulotu, who has been named captain of the All Blacks for the first time in his international career. Additionally, Peter Lakai and Ruben Love are poised to make their debuts, having been included in the reserves.

In the front row, Tamaiti Williams, Asafo Aumua, and Pasilio Tosi will take starting positions. The lock pairing will feature Sam Darry alongside Tuipulotu. Samipeni Finau and Vice Captain Sam Cane will occupy the flanks, with Wallace Sititi positioned at number 8.

Cam Roigard is making his first start at scrum-half, while Damien McKenzie will operate as flyhalf. On the wings, Reece will be joined by Mark Tele’a. The midfield combination consists of Anton Lienert-Brown and Billy Proctor, while Stephen Perofeta will assume the role of fullback.

Covering the forwards from the reserves will be George Bell, Ofa Tu’ungafasi, Fletcher Newell, Josh Lord, and Lakai, while the backline will be supported by TJ Perenara, David Havili, and Love.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5.50 PM at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
