Aleeza Raza, a defender for the Digicel Fiji Future Kulas, was awarded Player of the Match following Fiji’s 1-0 victory over the Solomon Islands in the playoff for fifth and sixth place at the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship, held at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The 15-year-old, who was born in Sydney to parents from Labasa, demonstrated unwavering dedication throughout the tournament, making significant contributions in all four matches. Her family, present in the stands, expressed their pride as they witnessed her critical plays that helped secure Fiji’s fifth-place finish in the event.
