A 28-year-old man faces charges for allegedly raping his five-year-old niece, while a 29-year-old man has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against his 15-year-old niece. These incidents were reported in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) Rape and Sexual Offences Statistics for September.

According to the ODPP, a total of 10 individuals were charged with 25 counts of sexual offenses during the month. The offenses included 16 counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and five counts of sexual assault.

Of the 10 victims, eight were minors under the age of 18, consisting of eight females and two males. Furthermore, a 46-year-old man has been charged with two counts of raping his 41-year-old wife.

In another case, a 20-year-old man has been charged with four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual assault related to his 17-year-old cousin. A 29-year-old man was also charged with attempted rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl from his village, while a 20-year-old man has been charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl from his village.

Two cases were discontinued after the filing of Nolle Prosequi due to a lack of sufficient evidence, and the inability to contact or locate the victims.
