Motorists experienced significant delays at Nadi International Airport yesterday due to a vehicle fire caused by a collision. The incident occurred at 10:30 AM, as confirmed by police spokesperson Constable Wame Batutolu.

According to Batutolu, a 61-year-old driver heading towards Lautoka failed to yield to another vehicle that was turning at the roundabout leading to the airport from Sabeto, resulting in the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Additionally, it was noted that traffic lights in the area have malfunctioned for an extended period, and traffic flow has been directed using cones. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
