Age is No Barrier: Meet the 72-Year-Old Graduate!

Divendra Prasad Sharma, at 72 years old, has accomplished his lifelong dream of graduating from university. He was inspired to pursue higher education during the orientation week at the University of the South Pacific (USP) Laucala Campus earlier this year. As the eldest of nine siblings, Mr. Sharma is the first in his family to earn a university degree. He was awarded a Certificate IV in Counseling from USP’s Pacific Technical and Further Education program.
