In a heartfelt celebration, Varanise Mole has successfully achieved her Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration and Human Resources Management, despite the demanding challenge of balancing work and family life. Alongside 307 other graduates, Ms. Mole celebrated her accomplishment during the University of Fiji’s graduation ceremony held at the Saweni Campus in Lautoka.
As a mother of four, Ms. Mole encountered a series of hurdles while completing her studies at Aspen Medical. She expressed the difficulties of managing her professional responsibilities with her academic deadlines, stating, “As a mother, I did face many challenges, especially trying to balance my work and my family.”
Fortunately, Ms. Mole found essential support from her husband, who helped take care of the children, allowing her to focus on her studies. She also acknowledged her current manager’s encouragement, which inspired her to continue her education.
Ms. Mole is not stopping here; she has plans to upgrade her qualifications and aspirations to advance further in her career. Before embarking on her most recent program, she obtained a Diploma in Business Economics from the Fiji National University in 2016.
For other working mothers looking to pursue their education, Ms. Mole shares her wisdom, emphasizing the importance of faith. “Nothing is impossible with God, so we must just go forth and trust in the Lord and do good,” she said, citing her favorite verse from Psalm 37:3. Her journey stands as a beacon of inspiration, illustrating that with support and determination, one can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
