Qenika Ravula, inspired by his faith and personal determination, has achieved a remarkable milestone by graduating with a National Certificate in Electrical Fitter Mechanic Level Three. The graduation ceremony took place at the Pacific Polytech, held at the Kshatriya Hall in Labasa, where Mr. Ravula, alongside 50 other graduates, celebrated their accomplishments.

At just 20 years old, Mr. Ravula is the fourth eldest among seven siblings from Vuinaqalutu Village in Dreketi, Macuata, and is proud to be the first in his family to earn a trade certificate. Despite facing challenges due to kyphosis, a spinal condition that he has battled for more than a decade, Ravula continues to draw strength from his faith and the support of his family.

“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me,” he shares, reflecting on how this verse from the Bible has fueled his perseverance. Though his physical appearance sometimes makes social interactions difficult, his faith has helped him to push forward.

After completing his education at Ahmadiyya Muslim College and supported by his family’s encouragement, he enrolled in the Naleba Youth Training Centre to pursue a Certificate in Agriculture. His journey has not been easy, as the family lives largely on assistance from the Social Welfare Department, while his mother grows crops to support them.

Ravula’s journey is a testament to resilience and the idea that hard work, along with faith, can help overcome life’s obstacles. He urges young people facing difficulties to avoid negative paths and instead choose faith and hard work, emphasizing that “God has a plan for everyone.”

This story serves as a reminder that determination coupled with faith can lead to significant accomplishments, inspiring others to pursue their dreams despite challenges.
