Representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) made a courtesy visit to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Professor Biman Prasad, today.

During the visit, Leah Gutierrez, Director General of the Pacific Department, and Aaron Batten, Regional Director of the Pacific Sub Regional Office, provided an update on ADB’s ongoing support for various sectors. These included the water sector, coastal operations, health, roads, and bridges, as well as private sector financing.

Professor Prasad acknowledged the significant support provided by ADB, emphasizing their role as a key strategic partner in development. ADB has maintained an enduring relationship with the country for over five decades, dating back to 1970.
