Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Steps Down abruptly

The Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, John Rabuku, will vacate his office at midnight tonight following the receipt of his letter of revocation earlier this week. Rabuku confirmed receiving the letter from the Office of the President, which formally advised him of the revocation of his appointment. He has met with the Judicial Service Commission and has been officially notified by the President regarding the end of his acting role. Rabuku expressed gratitude to his diligent staff and encouraged them to continue their steadfast work as top prosecutors.
