KPMG Fiji, an accounting firm, has added two new partners, Marissa Apted and Mohammed Khan, to its office in Suva. This move is in line with KPMG Fiji’s growth and expansion strategy in the South Pacific since 2021. The firm has increased the total count of partners to nine and the staff to 334 as of July 2024.
Having begun his career with KPMG 14 years ago, Mr. Khan is joining as the firm’s audit and assurance partner bringing extensive experience with clients from various industries across the Pacific Island countries. Ms. Apted, who started at KPMG Sydney in 2004, now moves into the role of advisory partner at KPMG Suva. She is skilled in risk consulting, people consulting, and transaction advisory services for various industries in Fiji and the Pacific. The appointments will be effective from July 1, 2024.
KPMG Fiji has witnessed consistent growth since its integration with the KPMG Australian Enterprise practice in July 2021.
