On Friday, Serua Island paused in honor of the installation of Ratu Tevita Mara Latianara as the new Turaga na Vunivalu of vanua o Korolevu, an event that attracted hundreds from surrounding areas. The atmosphere was a mix of excitement and deep respect as attendees gathered for this significant cultural occasion.
Distinguished guests included Ifereimi Vasu, Minister for iTaukei Affairs, and Ratu Suliano Matanitobua, Tui Namosi, both present to support the tradition and leadership transition.
