A New Era Begins: Ratu Tevita Takes the Helm as Tui Nayau

A new era is unfolding in Lau Province as Ratu Tevita Kapaiwai Lutunauga Mara was ceremoniously installed as the Tui Nayau at Nayau Island. This significant event, which marks the revival of the chiefly title that has been vacant since the passing of his father, Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara—Fiji’s first prime minister—was celebrated with notable ceremonies yesterday.
