At 33, Litia Vuanicagi Hughes Ilaisa, from Nawaqarua, Ba, has proven that with faith, determination, and family support, any challenge can be overcome. Recently, this devoted mother of three was honored with the prestigious Best Student Teacher Award after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from Fulton Adventist University College.
Reflecting on her educational journey from 2022 to 2024, Litia views her success as a testament to her steadfast belief in God and her deep love for her children. “My kids are my biggest motivation,” she expressed, emphasizing that age should not hinder women from pursuing their dreams.
