Aside from his business acumen, Mr. Maharaj co-founded Sun Insurance PTE Limited in 1999 and played a crucial role in the establishment of the Kidney Foundation of Fiji. His commitment extended to various charitable organizations, and he was an active member of the Rotary Club since 1990, even serving as the national president of the Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.
