Diwan Chand Maharaj, the founder of Quality Print PTE Limited, was honored as a remarkable friend and dedicated professional in the printing industry during his funeral service held at Dignified Crematorium. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka emphasized Mr. Maharaj’s impact on both the business community and philanthropic efforts, reflecting on his significant contributions.

Mr. Maharaj established his printing company in 1982 and built it into a leading entity in Fiji’s printing sector, known for both innovation and excellence over four decades. His passing signifies a substantial loss not only for Quality Print but also for the many local businesses that relied on his services.

Aside from his business acumen, Mr. Maharaj co-founded Sun Insurance PTE Limited in 1999 and played a crucial role in the establishment of the Kidney Foundation of Fiji. His commitment extended to various charitable organizations, and he was an active member of the Rotary Club since 1990, even serving as the national president of the Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji. Mr. Rabuka remarked on Mr. Maharaj’s embodiment of love and friendship, virtues that leave a lasting legacy.

The community remembers Mr. Maharaj not just for his business achievements but also for his unwavering dedication to social causes. As the community mourns the loss of such an influential figure, it also celebrates his life and the values he stood for, wishing him a peaceful rest.

This tribute serves as a reminder of the impact one individual can have on multiple fronts—business, community service, and personal connections. It inspires others to carry on his legacy of dedication and compassion, promoting a sense of community that will endure beyond his lifetime.
