72-Year-Old Graduate Proves It’s Never Too Late to Learn

Divendra Prasad Sharma, at the age of 72, achieved his lifelong dream of graduating from university. His inspiration to pursue higher education came during the orientation week at the University of the South Pacific (USP) Laucala Campus earlier this year. Mr. Sharma stands out as the eldest of nine siblings and is the first in his family to earn a university degree. He was awarded a Certificate IV in Counseling from USP’s Pacific Technical and Further Education program.
