The Fiji-New Zealand Business Council (FNZBC) has made a significant contribution to the Blue Light Program in Fiji by donating $5,000 to Blue Light New Zealand. The donation was presented during a networking event hosted by FNZBC in Suva last week.
Glyn Rowland, a superintendent with the New Zealand Police Pacific, highlighted that Blue Light is a non-profit organization that collaborates with the New Zealand Police to deliver essential services in communities that may be difficult for police to access. He praised the organization’s efforts, particularly in working with youth and making a positive impact in communities. Rowland expressed his enthusiasm about Blue Light expanding its initiative in Fiji.

Brendon Crompton, the CEO of Blue Light, who was present at the event, emphasized the Fiji Police’s commitment to community engagement. He pointed out that financial support is crucial for the police to effectively run community-based programs.
