A new 24-hour Hot Bread Kitchen has opened in Pacific Harbour, generating 23 new jobs and broadening economic prospects in the Serua province. Timoci Boseiwaqa, Chairman of the Serua Provincial Council, expressed his support for the new outlet, noting its appeal to a diverse customer base and its contribution to local investment. “The products they sell cater for everyone, and they will be open for 24 hours. This is a great development for our province,” he mentioned, highlighting the outlet’s potential to extend services across Fiji.
Vannessa Charters, Managing Director of Hot Bread Kitchen, emphasized that the company’s true legacy revolves around empowering people, not just selling baked goods. The firm is committed to offering careers, training, and practical skills to those who may struggle in traditional educational settings. Charters stated, “We provide careers, training, and skills for people who may not have done well in school, enabling them to build their lives, save money, and break the cycle of poverty.”
