Dominion Brothers will be pushing hard to defend their title amid fierce competition both locally and from abroad.

The men’s divisions will see an equally robust challenge. In Pool MA, the defending champions, Fiji 7s, are set to face off against NZ Sevens 2, Tuva Rugby, and Brothers. Pool MB comprises NZ Sevens 1, Drua 7s, Seattle Barbarians, and Colo West. Chairman Jay Whyte has expressed excitement about the upcoming tournament, noting, “The pools are out for 2025, and it’s very quickly apparent that the contest to simply get out of the pools will be difficult. There are no easy pools, with an even spread of international teams and the highest quality of Fijian club teams making the 2025 tournament the strongest on record.”

With a mix of seasoned champions and emerging talent, the 2025 McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s promises to deliver thrilling rugby action and community engagement, highlighting the sport’s growth and the rich rugby culture in Fiji. The anticipation for this event is a testament to rugby’s popularity, and it showcases the sport’s ability to unite fans from diverse backgrounds.

This year’s competition not only aims to entertain but also to inspire the next generation of rugby stars in Fiji and beyond.
