In 2025, three new teams will join the competition, including the men’s teams from Kenya and Uruguay, as well as the women’s team from China, all of which gained promotion through their achievements in the 2024 promotion and relegation play-off in Madrid.
The women’s teams will consist of New Zealand, Australia, France, USA, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, Great Britain, Japan, Brazil, Spain, and China. Meanwhile, the men’s lineup will feature Argentina, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, France, Fiji, South Africa, Great Britain, USA, Spain, Uruguay, and Kenya.
