The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) recently announced the opening of registration for the Fiji Government scholarships for the 2025 academic year, which began on December 2nd. Following the Year 13 Examination results, applicants are encouraged to register promptly. Those who have already signed up must upload their Year 13 examination results along with the final offer letter from their chosen Tertiary Education Institution (TEI). Importantly, TSLS will not consider applications that include provisional offer letters.

Avinay Kumar, the Acting Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that the registration process remains open until January 31st of next year. However, he strongly advises Year 13 students graduating in 2024 to apply as soon as possible since some scholarships have limited quotas.

Once applications are successfully submitted, they will undergo an assessment based on eligibility criteria. Students will be informed of the outcomes via the email registered during the application process, and they can also track their application status on the TSLS Online Application Portal.

Furthermore, TSLS encourages students to think carefully about their course selections by considering the job market and the availability of employment opportunities.

This initiative not only promotes higher education accessibility but also empowers students to make informed choices about their academic and professional futures. As the deadline approaches, students are reminded of the potential scholarships available to help them achieve their educational goals.
