The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) has announced that the registration for the 2025 academic year scholarships offered by the Fiji Government began on the 2nd of this month, following the Year 13 Examination Results.
Students who have already registered are required to upload their Year 13 examination results, along with the final offer letter from their chosen Tertiary Education Institution (TEI), to complete their application. It’s important to note that TSLS will not accept applications based on provisional offer letters from TEIs.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Avinay Kumar emphasized the urgency for those who haven’t registered yet, as the application window will close on January 31st of next year. There is also a strong encouragement for 2024 Year 13 students to apply early since some scholarships have limited availability.
Once applications are submitted, they will enter the processing stage for assessment against the necessary eligibility criteria. Applicants will receive notifications about their outcomes via the email used for registration, and they can also track their application status on the TSLS Online Application Portal.
In addition, TSLS advises students to carefully consider their academic program choices, taking into account the job market’s availability of opportunities.
