The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) has announced that registration for the 2025 academic year Government scholarships in Fiji commenced on the 2nd of this month, following the release of the Year 13 Examination Results.

Applicants who have already registered are required to upload their Year 13 examination results and the final offer letter from their chosen Tertiary Education Institution (TEI). It is important to note that TSLS will not process applications based on provisional offer letters.

Avinay Kumar, the Acting Chief Executive Officer, encourages those who have not yet registered to do so, as the application window will close on January 31 of next year. Additionally, he emphasizes that 2024 Year 13 students should consider applying early since some scholarships are subject to quotas.

Once the application is submitted and completed, it will move into the assessment phase, where it will be evaluated based on the relevant eligibility criteria. Applicants will be informed of their application outcomes via the email they used for registration and can also check their application status on the TSLS Online Application Portal.

TSLS advises students to make thoughtful decisions regarding their academic programs, taking into account the job market availability.

This initiative supports students in their educational pursuits and highlights the importance of early application, ensuring that they have access to financial assistance as they embark on their tertiary education journey.

Overall, the announcement serves as a positive reminder for students to take advantage of available opportunities that can contribute significantly to their future careers.
