The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) has announced that registration for the 2025 academic year Fiji Government scholarships began on the 2nd of this month, following the release of Year 13 examination results.

Applicants who have already registered are urged to upload their Year 13 examination results and final offer letter from their chosen Tertiary Education Institution (TEI) to complete their application, as TSLS will not evaluate any applications based on provisional offer letters.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Avinay Kumar emphasized that those who have yet to register should do so promptly, noting that applications will close on January 31 of the following year. TSLS encourages Year 13 students of 2024 to apply early, as certain scholarships have limited availability.

Once applications are finalized and submitted, they will enter a processing stage for assessment based on eligibility criteria. Applicants will be notified of their application outcomes via the email used for registration, and they can track their application status on the TSLS Online Application Portal.

TSLS reminds students to make informed decisions regarding their academic programs by taking job market opportunities into account, which could positively influence their career paths.

This initiative showcases a commitment to enhancing educational access and ensuring that students have the resources and information necessary to make smart choices for their future. There is a hopeful outlook as more students are encouraged to seize these opportunities, paving the way for increased educational attainment and career success.
